University of Guelph Projects

Over my mechanical engineering degree at the university of Guelph I was involved in many different design project. below are the major design projects I was involved with. The only remaining project to add is my capstone project.

Mechatronics Robot

This robot is designed to use 3 ultrasonic sensors to navigate a maze and then use the arm to grab a bottle on the other end. I primarily assisted in the frame design and worked on the code.

Design 2: Reverse Engineering

The project required the group to disassemble, measure, create in CAD and then reassemble digitally. additionally an animation was required. I mad all of the large panels including the green casings as well as the pull cord housing on top.

Design 2: Kinder Egg Toy

The project was to design, 3D print and then present the final product capable of fitting within the large kinder egg and be able to be assembled with no tools.

Design 3: Methane Energy Production

Together my group and I, conceptualized, planned, designed and presented a proposal for a way to use organic waste, through anerobic digestion and methane fuel cells, to produce electricity.
